Quick visit to San Jose

We had a quick visit to San Jose recently but we made the most of it.  On Sunday morning we went over to Geordie and Jolene's for a delicious brunch.  Then we went over to Hicklebee's children's bookstore and asked Serena to meet us there.  She made lots of great recommendations and also gave Skyla a very nice gift set of Gertie and Gossie books!  When we got home Skyla had a great time playing with her new toy from Roma: a shopping cart just her size :)  It has since become her preferred method of transporting things from room to room as she plays her favorite game of moving things from one container into another for no apparent reason.  We are so lucky to have such great friends and family so close to home!
