GG Nat'l Rec Area Hike

One of our favorite things to do is explore all of the wonderful things San Francisco has to offer, especially in terms of natural beauty.  We recently went on an adventure in the Golden Gate National Recreation Area. We started by having breakfast at an adorable old diner with the most incredible view of the Mt. Sutro baths.  We learned a little bit about the baths that have were destroyed by fire long ago.  Back when they were in use, people would actually take a train down to them and go swimming with not just a terrific view of the ocean, but with the ocean waves actually coming into the baths!  I wish we had been here to see that! Breakfast was great -- yummy food, amazing views.

After that we went out for a hike of the surrounding area. We got some good views of the Cliff House and had fun exploring.

We kept walking along a cliff with amazing views, and eventually come to a spot with a perfect view of the Golden Gate Bridge.  What a beautiful discovery!
